100% recommendation. I have just finished safari in Tanzania organized by Abraham Lauwo, our guide/ driver was Saidi, who was not only a great driver but also great guide who has 5th sense to spot animals. He was always ahead of other drivers. We have experienced big 5 so close to our jeep that we could hear them breathing and take great pictures just using our phones. I strongly recommend to contact Abraham and check his professionalism and kindness. Don’t forget to ask for Saidi as a driver/guide.

Excellent 1-day adventure at Arusha Natl Park Abraham Lauwo organized a great 1-day private safari (incl. walking portion) at Arusha NP. Prior to safari, communication via WhatsApp and email was smooth. My guide / driver Emmanuel was friendly and very knowledgeable. Both he and the ranger for the walking safari took time not just to point animals but to explain animal behaviors and interesting facts about them as well as plant life. The walking safari with a park ranger was great to get close to many giraffes and other animals, and the ranger can tailor it to one’s interests. This was a great park and its animal diversity was more than i had expected and also complemented nicely what one can see in the larger parks.

Kilimanjaro trekking + Safari We booked our Kilimanjaro trek with Lauwo Adventures: a 6-day Machame route climb plus a 3-day safari. It’s a local company run by Abraham, a very professional person who makes sure your experience is truly unforgettable. He personally came to meet us at the shuttle stop and helped us choose the best sleeping bag, as one of my biggest fears was being cold on the mountain. The entire team that accompanied us during the climb was extremely professional, always checking for any symptoms of altitude sickness and adapting to our pace and needs at all times. They even prepared a birthday cake for my friend, which was such a lovely surprise and food was amazing. There was a small misunderstanding at one point, but they always put the client first and everything was resolved quickly. Their prices are very good and fit our budget, but most importantly the quality of the service was excellent. Reaching the summit was largely thanks to all their hard work and support. The safari was also incredible. We chose the most budget-friendly option and slept in campsites, but to my surprise they were very well prepared. One morning we even woke up with two buffalo walking around our tents — an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Abraham, for all the effort you put in to make everything perfect.

A well-organised climb with an experienced and knowledgeable team. We really enjoyed climbing Kilimanjaro on the Lemosho route with Lauwo Adventures. Our guides Henry and Abraham were amazing - they were so knowledgeable about the mountain thanks to decades of experience as climbing guides. Henry has summited over 900 times and is very well known and respected on the mountain as evidenced by the many other guides we met during our climb who told us that he had been their teacher many years ago when they were training to become climbing guides themselves. He and Abraham prepared a personalised ascent itinerary for our group focused on safety and proper acclimatisation (including daily health checks and measurements of our oxygen levels) which ultimately guaranteed a successful summit day (one day ahead of schedule). Our team of porters and cooks was likewise top notch - we were so well taken care of! Every day of the climb came with delicious multi-course meals, a seemingly endless supply of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, and many other amenities that ensured our group was as comfortable and happy as possible. The porters were also very friendly and we appreciated the opportunity to chat with them and get to know them better during our climb. It made the experience so much more enjoyable and fun. We are grateful to Henry, Abraham and the entire team at Lauwo Adventures for an excellent Kilimanjaro experience and highly recommended climbing with them!

3 day safari / hike Mt Kilimanjaro Machame route Abraham Lauwo and his team at Lauwo Adventures were nothing short of amazing. My husband and I did a 3 night safari and then we hiked Kili with a group of friends. As a nurse from the US, I was a little anxious about what could go wrong on the hike. Once Abraham told me, that he was constantly assessing us, that made me feel better. I knew that our health and safety was a priority. We made it to the top safely. His team was always on point. The meals were delicious and we were well taken care of. We even had 2 vegans with us and the chef made 2 different meals every day🙌🏽 I am full of gratitude! Thank you so much Lauwo Adventures ♥️ Asante Sana

Personable, caring and experienced company and great value for money. Abraham and Lozarian are lovely guys with a wealth of experience. We have been on 2 prior safaris to same locations. This time we saw some truly unforgettable things that we had not previously seen. Felt very sorry for them having to negotiate the horrendous roads and traffic at this time - particularly in Serengeti. Safety was a priority for them.

Highly professional team to climb Kilimanjaro I am very satisfied with the professional team of Lauwo Adventures which I joined to climb Kilimanjaro via Machame route. Abraham becomes good friend of mine, and even after the trek, he showed me a lot of places in Moshi and his village Marangu. I appreciate the guides who understand our pace and could adjust the starting time specially for us. The cook was very attentive to prepare vegetarian meals for me, and they are very delicious!! The porters are all very well-trained and humble, they ran so fast even on muddy trails that I couldn’t keep up with them. In general I had great time during the hike, with a good balance of interacting with the group and solo self reflection time. I highly recommend Lauwo Adventures to anyone who wants to experience a down-to-earth local adventure, but yet highly knowledgable about any situations that could happen in the mountain. Abraham and his team are very connected with the mountain, and I totally trust their instincts. I will keep sending my friends to join the hike with Lauwo adventures.

Unbelievable experience Abraham and Henry Lauwo are brothers local to the Kilimanjaro region, and grew up on the foothills of the mountain. They are extremely experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to climbing Kilimanjaro and know exactly what it takes. They know how to make sure you are safe whilst having a successful climb, and most importantly while having fun. The small, local business they run is top notch, and I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to climb Kili.
